Have you ever heard of the Jasmine Walk?
Originally, it was a road that connected the Papal State to the Italian State near the train station of San Pietro. It is located 400 meters from the structure and, for the Jubilee of 2000, a track was removed to create a path, a pedestrian itinerary to reach Piazza San Pietro and the Basilica.
Today, walking along the route, you can admire the Dome in the background and delight in the sight of colorful jasmines that, especially in spring, paint the surrounding landscape and inebriate the senses of passers-by.
