A stone's throw from St. Peter's Square...

IL PERUGINO GUEST HOUSE, not a “house for guests” but a “house of guests”.

Staying in Rome and moving between the main attractions that the eternal city offers has never been so easy.

Whether you need a short stay or a vacation, come and discover how easy it can be to feel “at home”.

Who we are

The property is managed by Nicola and Simone, two friends sharing a passion for travel and accommodation facilities, who decided in 2021 to found a company and begin the search for a property that would be up to their project.

In 2024, in the shadow of the Dome, they find the right place to give shape to their ideas and their dream.

This is how Il Perugino Guest House was born, whose name, due to its location, derives from the name of one of the three most well-known and used entrances for entering and exiting the Vatican.

Where we are

The Perugino Guest house takes its name from the “Porta del Perugino” located in via della Stazione Vaticana (about 100 meters from the building) which allows access to the Vatican City State.

The church takes its name from the famous artist and painter Pietro di Cristoforo Vannucci, known as “il Perugino”, to whom some frescoes in the Sistine Chapel (Vatican Museums) can be attributed, such as “the delivery of the Chievo to St. Peter”, “Moses’ journey to Egypt” and “the Baptism of Christ”.

The Perugino Guest house is located 150 meters from St. Peter's Square, in via della Stazione di San Pietro n 6, a stone's throw from the historic center of the eternal city.

Thanks to its proximity to the San Pietro train station, approximately 200 metres away, the structure is easily reachable from Termini and Tiburtina stations and by city buses.

The Perugino is also located near some of the capital's hospitals such as Santo Spirito, Bambino Gesù and Isola Tiberina.

The excellent central location allows you to easily reach, some even comfortably on foot, the most touristic areas of the city of Rome:

- Sant'Angelo Castle 1 km

- Navona Square 1.5 km

 - Pantheon 2 km

- Trevi Fountain 2.5 km

- Altar of the Fatherland 3 km

- Colosseum 3.5 km

- Olympic Stadium 4.5 km
